It's one of my favorite places on Fridays. Because that's when I deserve not to cook. But there food and place kept clean. Love the staff. I know them personally. It get my hugs and smiles when I entered.
The fish and chicken are excellent, but they need to improve on the side dishes.
I go to the drive-thru of this little restaurant. I've stopped at it a few times and I find the food to be decent and good. The fish is crispy enough and tender inside. The chicken fried hits the spot. Also. A good place if you want a quick bite.
This spot is clean, I ordered whiting, trout, hush & slaw, everything was made fresh hot and delicious! Looking forward to being a regular.
I'm from NY but I have family in MD that's not too far from this location, that recommended this place, NY Chicken & Fish. It's a clean & quaint establishment with an approximate 6-9 table seating area that's cozy. My family & I ordered take out & had the fried fish & a Philly cheesteak sandwich (all with fries) & we loved it all! The owner told us that he is originally from Brooklyn & he "clowned/teased us" for being from Long Island, NY which we are used to, lol. The staff is friendly & accommodating & the food is very good. Our wait time was minimal. My only disappointment was not making it back there before I left MD, but that was my fault! LOL I highly recommend NY Chicken & Fish restaurant & I DEF plan to re-visit them when I return to MD, Lord willing!

I've been working in the area for about 3 months and this is the only place I come back to over and again. The chicken is great, fried fish is fantastic, burger the size of a whopper but reminds me flavor wise of a Krystal. Portions are huge and reasonably priced. Staff are always super friendly and helpful if an order is made wrong. There's a small wait for food, but it's usually because they're making it fresh. I recommend all day
